Which size does an older dog need?
Measure the back length from the shoulder blade to the base of the tail, the chest girth at the widest point behind the front legs, and the neck girth where the collar sits. In older dogs especially, posture, muscle and waist change over time. If your dog falls between two sizes, photos from the side and from above help a lot.
