Dog raincoat & waterproof dog coats: Mini Fit or Regular Fit?
The lumiies® Glow Raincoat is a waterproof, windproof and warmly lined dog coat for rain, wind and cold, wet days. You will find both fits and all four colours above; the key difference is set out here.
Mini Fit for small dogs and dachshunds.
For small and very small dogs with a delicate build, short legs, a longer back or a deep chest. 7 sizes and 4 neon colours.
Regular Fit for many breeds.
For many medium to large dogs and body shapes, including sighthounds such as galgos and whippets, plus poodles, doodles, dalmatians, ridgebacks and crossbreeds. 9 sizes and 4 neon colours.

Frequently asked questions about the Glow Raincoat.
Is the Glow Raincoat waterproof?
Yes. The coat has a 10,000 mm water column, a laminated outer material and warm polar fleece inside.
Is neon reflective?
No. Neon increases visibility in light, but it is not reflective and does not glow on its own. For darkness we additionally recommend a light and reflective accessories.
Can my dog wear a harness underneath?
Yes. The Mini Fit uses a slit solution, the Regular Fit a sewn in two way zip.
Which size does my dog need?
What counts is back length, chest girth, neck girth and your dog's body shape. The Mini Fit is made for dachshunds and small breeds with short legs or a longer back. The Regular Fit suits many medium to large breeds and sighthounds. Please always compare the measurements with the size chart on the product page.
How do I measure my dog correctly?
Measure the back length from the shoulder blade to the base of the tail, the chest girth at its widest point behind the front legs and the neck girth where the collar sits. Your dog should stand straight and the tape should lie loosely against the body.
Is there personal size advice in the customer chat?
Yes. If you are unsure between two sizes, we will help you personally in the customer chat. Please give the back length, chest girth, neck girth, weight and the breed or body shape of your dog.
Can I upload photos of my dog?
Yes. You can send us photos of your dog in the customer chat. A photo from the side and one from above help most. Please also give your email address so we can reply if you leave the chat.
How fast is delivery?
We ship every day from Monday to Friday. Delivery usually takes 1 to 3 days. You receive a tracking number as soon as your parcel is on its way.
Which breeds is the Glow Raincoat suitable for?
Depending on the measurements, the Mini Fit suits dachshunds, miniature dachshunds, small poodles, chihuahuas, miniature pinschers, maltese, yorkshire terriers, jack russell terriers and small crossbreeds. The Regular Fit suits many breeds such as poodles, doodles, gun dogs, dalmatians, ridgebacks, beagles, vizslas, weimaraners, crossbreeds and sighthounds such as galgos, whippets and italian greyhounds.
Can I send it back if it does not fit?
Yes. Through our returns portal you register the return easily and receive a DHL ticket. The customer carries the cost of the return. You can send your order back within 14 days of receiving it.
I need a different size, can I exchange it?
Please register the return through our returns portal first. You can then order the right size again. We are unfortunately not able to carry out a direct exchange in the system.
Can I machine wash the products?
Yes. Our collection is machine washable. We recommend 30 degrees on a delicate cycle, a low spin and a wash bag for jumpers or toys.
Can I tumble dry the products?
No. Please let the products dry flat in the air. That protects material, shape and colours and saves energy.
Are the materials kind to the skin?
Yes. We choose our materials carefully. Many fabrics come from the sports industry for human clothing. Our knitted collection is made in a manufactory for baby and toddler textiles and is gentle on skin and coat.
