At the widest point behind the front legs. The critical figure for sighthounds.
Where the collar sits. Important for the loop and the collar width on the coat.
With sighthounds usually take the larger one and have it checked in the customer chat.

Why do normal dog coats often not fit sighthounds?
Because the ribcage is very deep in relation to the rest of the body and the waist behind it becomes much narrower. A coat that fits at the chest sits too loosely at the waist. The Regular-Fit solves that with an elastic belly strap and a sighthound cut.
Which size does a Whippet, Galgo or Greyhound need?
The breed alone is not enough, sighthounds vary a lot. Back length and chest girth are what matter. Compare your measurements with the size chart on the relevant product page.
Do sighthounds really feel the cold sooner?
Yes. Short coat, little undercoat, little fat under the skin. Many need a layer as early as autumn in wind and wet.
Does a harness fit under the coat and the jumper?
Yes. The Raincoat Regular-Fit has a built-in two-way zip, The Sport Racer Pullover has hidden openings in the back pocket. With the Glow Jumper the harness is worn on top.
How does The Sport Racer Pullover sit at the tail?
The Sport Racer Pullover lightly covers the tail and keeps your dog lovely and warm, also for dogs that carry their tail high. With twelve sizes you will find the right one for your dog. Use the total length of the pullover and the recommended back length as a reference value, because every dog is individual. If you would like the pullover a little longer, you decide how long it should be. The chest area is knitted and therefore stretchy, which gives extra room. Which bed or which blanket suits a sighthound?
The Studio Nest is a snuggle sleeping bag for small sighthounds, from the Italian Greyhound to the Whippet. The Studio Blanket suits small and large sighthounds alike and can be taken anywhere.
Is neon reflective?
No. Neon raises visibility in daylight, at dusk and in grey weather, but it does not reflect. For real darkness we also recommend a light and the reflective magnetic clip.
How do I wash the pieces?
30°C delicate wash, no fabric softener, jumpers and loops in a laundry bag, dry flat in the air.
