Which size does my dachshund need?
What matters is the back length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, then the chest girth. Rabbit dachshunds are usually around size 1 to 2, miniature dachshunds 3 to 4, standard dachshunds 5 to 7. Molly in the photos has a 38 cm back length and wears size 4.
Do the jumpers only fit dachshunds?
No. The cut is made for long backs and short legs, but the sizes go up to 71 cm back length and 90 cm chest girth. So they also fit poodles, sighthounds and larger crossbreeds.
Can my dog wear a harness underneath?
With the Sport Racer jumper and the overall, yes, both have an opening through which the lead is guided to the outside. The knitted Glow Jumper is worn over the harness.
How do I wash the jumpers?
At 30°C on a delicate cycle, without fabric softener, dry flat. Do not tumble dry.
What fits between two sizes?
With a lot of coat or a strong chest, take the larger size. If in doubt, write to us in the customer chat and we will work it out with you.
