Greyhounds are not only known for their elegance, but also for their special needs. Their slim stature and short fur require specially adapted products that offer protection and comfort in equal measure. At lumiies®, we know these needs well because our team lives with greyhounds themselves - including Galgos, Salukis, Tazis and greyhound crossbreeds, often from animal shelters.
Our products are designed to suit a wide range of different sighthound breeds, including Whippets, Azawakhs, Greyhounds, Borzois, Podencos, Magyar Agar, Chart Polskis, Deerhounds, Sloughis, Borzois and Silken Windhounds. These breeds of dogs have little hair and get cold easily, so they need special protection.
Our zip-up raincoats are not only 100% waterproof, but are also lined with high-tech thermal fleece to keep you warm on cool days. The practical zip on the back makes it particularly easy to put on - ideal for dogs who wear a harness . This means your four-legged friend stays dry and protected even in bad weather. We always combine our raincoat with a sweater underneath or a glow loop - depending on the temperature. Our raincoat is also suitable for anxious dogs who don't like having something pulled over their heads. The signal colors are particularly important for our hunters, because even if they disappear into the forest for a moment, they definitely can't be missed with the luminous colors.
Our knitted sweaters made from GOTS-certified organic cotton are a real highlight. They are ultra-soft, breathable and have a turtleneck that optimally protects the sensitive neck area. Perfect for cold days and the special fit is made especially for the slim stature of greyhounds.
The Glow Jumpers not only add color to everyday life, but also offer maximum visibility at dusk. These neon jumpers are available in nine sizes and, thanks to elastic materials, offer a perfect fit for greyhounds and other sporty breeds. They are ideal for outdoor activities on dark and cold days.
For cuddle time at home or on the go, our blankets made from certified organic cotton are the perfect choice. They are soft, skin-friendly and offer greyhounds the comfort they love.
We also thought of greyhounds when selecting collars and leashes. Our wide collars ensure safety and comfort, while the four-way adjustable leashes offer maximum flexibility. The range is complemented by highly elastic loops, which are available in three sizes and can be flexibly adjusted.
Our products are often complemented with the reflective Glow Tag . This reflective magnetic clip with 3M Scotchlite and ultra-strong dynamo magnets can be attached anywhere to clothing, a harness, a leash or bags.
All of our products are made in GOTS-certified factories under fair working conditions. We attach particular importance to environmentally friendly materials and sustainable production. As a designer sister duo, we are not only committed to high-quality products, but also to female empowerment in the textile industry. In 2024, we were able to support several animal welfare organizations and are pleased to be actively helping together with partners such as the Darmstadt animal shelter.
